Dear Ones,
I hope you'll join us today as
10 more of our graduates lead songs!
Learn some of these women's originals,
and enjoy some old favorites!
In honor of our Black friends
on this now National Holiday of Juneteenth,
I'll be leading us in the chorus and one verse of
Ella's Song by Bernice Johnson Reagan.
Why this song?
Ella Baker played a key role in Civil Right organizations.
This song celebrates her life and reminds us that
working for social and racial justice is a long-term commitment.
We have come a long way,
and we still have a long way to go!
Please join us!
Love, Light and Levity,
Heather
