Hello my dear friends!
I'm all filled up with Tuolumne Meadows magic
and ready to sing with you all!
There's nothing like the clarity
and sparkle one receives
from the high alpine landscape!
We hiked and climbed and stargazed.
We jumped in lakes and slid down natural water slides.
We sang songs and told stories around the campfire.
We laughed and cried and ate good food.
I'm so grateful to be filled up with so much beauty!
On our last morning there, I took a walk up river.
At one point, I felt called to the water's edge.
I knelt down in reverence and sheer gratitude,
and I asked for a song to come through.
A song for the river.
As I sang, I wept.
As I wept, I sang.
A pure offering...
"Oh Mother Waters,
Thank you for your healing song.
Oh Mother Waters
Here I know, that I belong."
I did not have my recorder with me.
And I thought, if I remember it, wonderful.
If I don't, then I know it was a
pure offering of love
for this moment, for these sacred waters.
As it turned out,
I remembered it,
and I'm excited to share it
with you all on Thursday!
