Because those who love themselves well
love others well...
Hello Precious Ones!
As we step into Black History Month,
I wonder how we can each continue to
stretch ourselves to do the inner work
that is needed to contribute to a racially just nation and world?
How do we keep leaning in to the difficult feelings and conversations?
How do we continue to inform ourselves?
How do we support one another on the journey?
The only way out is through...
We all know that the most powerful way to move
THROUGH the pain is with LOVE in our hearts.
How do we cultivate enough love for ourselves so that
we can stay IN a place of love
as we walk through the fires of these times?
Let's sing about it!
Join us tonight for some songs about self-love and forgiveness.
I've written two new ones for you:
River of Kindness -
a gorgeous round with a Nordic feel.
I've been diving into my ancestry a bit,
and the melody was inspired by the beautiful,
mountainous landscape of that region.
The lyrics were inspired by an experience I had in a
Continuum Movement practice.
I Forgive Myself -
a soulful harmony song that invites us to let go
of regret, self-sabotage, self-blame etc.,
and step even more into our wholeness and freedom.
We'll sing Love Moves in Me from the Sisters of the Moon album,
Lantern, I am Enough, and a bunch of other
heartfelt, fun and uplifting songs!
If you have not yet listened to my latest release,
Bird of Light, here are the links to do so:
