Happy Mother's Day! In whatever way you choose to celebrate the mothers of our world today, I wish you inner peace, love, and connection. ❤️
Since 2005, my choir of angels, Yala Lati, have been offering a Spring concert to our Santa Cruz community around Mother's Day. To those who have gathered with us in past years to share in the magic, please know that we love you, and miss singing to you, with you. We look forward to the day when we can once again gather and sing! Until then, here is a video from last year's concert of our cover of Paul Simon's "Loves Me Like a Rock." Ahhhhh... I LOVE these women and they way they listen and blend and sing from the fullness of their hearts! And I love hearing the audience reaction in this video!
There's no replacement for live music, but we sure are doing our best to keep the spirit of community singing alive and well!
