Dear Friends,
What a delightful weekend we had!
It was a dream come true to weave my voice with these incredible musicians in a live concert setting and to share
the brilliance of our sound with such fabulous, warm hearted audiences.
THANK YOU to those of you who came out to share in the magic with us!!
And would you believe it if I told you that it drizzled and rained all day Monday?
Our collective thoughts, intentions and prayers are more powerful than we give ourselves credit for.
It has been revealed to me time and time again that if we sing for the water with all of the devotion in our hearts, that she responds with a blessing.
I am so grateful to my friend and producer Todd Boston for believing in me, inspiring me and guiding me through to the birth of this beautiful album! And for Tammy Hall, Jami Sieber, Kevin DiNoto, Lydia Nielsen, Valerie Byrne and my choir Yala Lati for saying yes to being a part of this grand adventure! And for my Kickstarter community... I couldn't have done it without you!
We are all set to release the Prayers for the Water CD on I-tunes, CD Baby, Amazon, etc. on Friday, Nov. 6th
This is the next step of many and with many more to follow.
I've embraced taking this project on one step at a time as the fullness of my life allows rather than trying to do it all at once as most artists do.
Thank you for being with me on this fluid journey with the water.
And THIS weekend I have the opportunity to play my moyo drum and sing as Sirena Andrea, the producer of the Santa Cruz Storytelling Festival tells a story of the Achuar people from the Ecuadorian rain forest. Please join us and other fabulous storytellers! Details below.
