Hello Friends!

We had a fabulous time at

Sivananda Bahamas...

as you can probably imagine.

What a blessing to be on

sacred, heart opening land

with a gorgeous 

community beloveds...

chanting, yogaing, 

swimming in turquoise waters 

and singing our prayers

for the world. 

And shout out to my 

new beloved friends

who joined my mailing 

list while on retreat there.

It was such a gift to connect

and sing with you all. 

My heart it so full of 

goodness from out time together!

Shireen Amini is a queer, Puerto Rican-Iranian, 

Earth-loving musician whose career 

as a singer-songwriter, performer, percussionist, 

teacher, and artist has spanned 15 years. 

With a BA in Ethnomusicology from UCLA 

and a certificate in Sound, Voice, 

and Music Healing from CIIS in San Francisco, 

Shireen has also come to believe strongly 

in music as a tool for personal and 

collective transformation. As a song leader, 

Shireen loves to share medicine songs 

with healing and empowering messaging, 

infectious grooves, and soulful melodies, 

often engaging her participants in 

rhythmic play and movement while singing. 

Shireen recently released a solo album 

entitled "Break Myself Free," a pop-rock 

record filled with energizing grooves, 

anthemic choruses, and uplifting stories of change. 

She also offers classes, events, coaching, 

and intentional songwriting for her local 

and virtual communities through her 

project Shireen Amini Music Medicine.

Sarina Partridge is a musician, song leader, 

educator, and activist in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

She feels most alive when learning, creating, 

and sharing songs -- especially songs 

that grow out of time spent in wild places. 

Sarina sings with a wide variety of music projects: 

community song-leading; harmony-rich 

original music with folk trio Heartwood; 

and performing and teaching Eastern European 

and Yiddish songs with her duo, Nanilo. 

Sarina has a passion for connecting 

people with their creativity and with 

the community and uses singing as a 

modality to help folks develop a sense 

of wonder and belonging in this wild world around us.
