a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

workshop hosted by

Rev. Deborah Johnson & Kim Clark,

Taj Leahy & Laura Bishop

where we practice declaring

what we are for, not against

and rising above divisiveness

for harmony, compassion and justice.

I've gone through this powerful

visioning process with Rev. Deb

many times over the last two decades,

and this time around,

I have the absolute honor

of being one of the

break-out group facilitators.

Lyndsey Scott is an artist and ritual-maker

devoted to priestesSing the Heartland,

(literal and figurative).

She catches and weaves sacred

music to empower earth-based

spiritual consciousness,

and gathers soul circles that use

Song and sacred listening to decompose

oppressive scripts that get in the way of

freely living the Love we are.

Shireen Amini is a queer, Puerto Rican-Iranian,

Earth-loving musician whose career as a

singer-songwriter, performer, percussionist,

teacher, and artist has spanned 15 years.

With a BA in Ethnomusicology from UCLA

and a certificate in Sound, Voice,

and Music Healing from CIIS in San Francisco,

Shireen has also come to believe strongly

in music as a tool for personal and

collective transformation.

As a song leader, Shireen loves to share

medicine songs with healing and

empowering messaging, infectious grooves,

and soulful melodies, often engaging

her participants in rhythmic play

and movement while singing.
