💔 My heart is breaking... and I'm Tending the Spark of Hope...

Dear Precious Hearts,

I know we are all feeling the impact

of what's happening in the Middle East.

I've been feeling it deeply,

and shared my experience

on social media this morning,

I want to share it with all of you as well...

'My heart is breaking for our

human family caught in the crossfire

of this unholy war in the Holy land.

My heart is breaking for the ones

who have lost their lives,

for the grieving hearts who

have lost loved ones.

My heart is breaking for the ones

who are suffering and

living in fear for their lives.

My heart is breaking for

the Holy land and all of the

bloodshed she has been witness to.

My heart is breaking for the ones

who are so tortured inside

that they think violence is the answer.

My compassionate heart is feeling

deep grief and has shed many tears.

With heart cracked open in love

I’m visualizing and praying for

peace and understanding.

I’m visualizing and praying for

forgiveness and reconciliation.

I’m visualizing and praying for

de-escalation and compassion.

I’m sending big waves of comfort

from the deepest wells of love

in my heart to all in need.

Feeling our grief and our heartbreak

all of the way through creates fertile soil

for planting seeds of potent prayers,

visualizations, and compassionate action.

Our grief and our prayers are powerful.

Don’t ever doubt it.

Let’s "tend to the spark of hope that lives

within our grieving hearts."

May we all, every single one of us

on this living, breathing earth

know deep peace in our hearts.

Tending the Spark

And as my dear friend

Rev. Elisha says:

"a prayer sung is

a prayer prayed twice."

And sung in the presence

of community,

prayers are multiplied

beyond our wildest imagination.
