the Shruti box is one of
my favorite instruments to
play and sing with.
I love the feeling of the vibration
in my body, the way it reminds
me to breathe, and the way it
holds a drone so that my voice
is free to attune and explore
with ease and freedom.
It helps me enter into a space
of deep listening and devotion,
vocal meditation and elation!
Aside from my voice,
the shruti has been
my primary instrument
for over 20 years!
